Steps – Roncardores del Faro

DCIM100MEDIA

From the shallow anchoring spot at 4 meters deep, we will only need a few fin strokes to reach an edge which drops almost vertically to 18 meters. These walls are natural basalt stone formations which look like they are man-made. The cooling effect of the water on the hot lava has caused the formation of small caves and tunnels. Here we can observe a huge group of yellowfin grunts, hunting barracudas, trumpet fish standing on the walls, and, for the trained eye, octopus or the occasional angel shark also.

We care about animal welfare in Tenerife
Join us!

Tenerife is our home — but sadly, countless dogs and cats are abandoned, injured, or left to fend for themselves every year. We cannot and will not ignore this.

At OceanTrek Diving School, we feel deeply connected to this island and its inhabitants — both people and animals.

That’s why we support LIFE4DOGS, a project driven by passion and compassion, working to create a rescue and rehabilitation center for dogs and cats — a place where help, healing, and hope come together.

We stand behind this initiative because it represents the same values we care about: compassion, responsibility and sustainability.

Join us — together we can make a real difference!
Whether through a donation or by sharing the project, every bit of help counts.

Together we can ensure that Tenerife is not only a paradise for people but also a safe and happy place for dogs and cats.
