Underwater photos are a great thing. For example, many of our guests have an action camera such as a GoPro or other models and understandably want to take them with them on their first underwater adventure.
Unfortunately, however, it is not advisable to take your own camera with you, especially on your first trial dive, and no diving organization allows you to do so.
You should be able to concentrate fully on your equipment, your instructor and your new surroundings.
As a rule, you are only allowed to take your own camera with you from your first diving license.
Taking good underwater photos is not as easy as you might think. Above all, you need good buoyancy control, which you only learn little by little. But there are also many other things to consider, such as correct positioning or exposure in different visibility conditions. In addition, you are of course not visible in your own photos.
Many divers with a diving license even take special underwater photography courses to learn how to use the camera properly.
On request, we also offer photos with videos of the entire diving day on Tenerife above and underwater for a fee of 30€.
