Special Course Wreck Diving - Diving Center Tenerife

4 dives, min. 2 days

In the specialty course wreck diving we explain how to behave correctly during a wreck dive.  You learn how to take care not to hurt yourself and how to take precautions to get out of the wreck.

We would like to point out that there are not many wrecks on Tenerife. In addition, almost all of them have disintegrated in the last few years.  Only the wreck of Tabaiba “El Penon” which was sunk in 2006 in the northeast of the island is really intact.  It lies at a depth of about 33 meters on sand.  With a length of only 35 metres, the wreck is actually a little too small for real wreck fans.

Note on Health Condition

Please remember that you should be in a normal, appropriate state of health to go diving. You can also confirm your good health by completing a self-assessment questionnaire. If you are unsure, you will need to obtain medical clearance from a doctor beforehand.

We care about animal welfare in Tenerife
Join us!

Tenerife is our home — but sadly, countless dogs and cats are abandoned, injured, or left to fend for themselves every year. We cannot and will not ignore this.

At OceanTrek Diving School, we feel deeply connected to this island and its inhabitants — both people and animals.

That’s why we support LIFE4DOGS, a project driven by passion and compassion, working to create a rescue and rehabilitation center for dogs and cats — a place where help, healing, and hope come together.

We stand behind this initiative because it represents the same values we care about: compassion, responsibility and sustainability.

Join us — together we can make a real difference!
Whether through a donation or by sharing the project, every bit of help counts.

Together we can ensure that Tenerife is not only a paradise for people but also a safe and happy place for dogs and cats.
