At our PADI 5 Star Dive Centre, we have been introducing beginners to scuba diving since 1996. We believe that your first dive should be a relaxed, enjoyable experience, with personal attention, clear explanations and plenty of time to become comfortable in the water.
Whether you simply want to try scuba diving during your holiday or are thinking about becoming a certified diver, we offer two introductory programmes.
Classic Try Dive in Tenerife – €90
The perfect introduction for anyone who wants to experience scuba diving for the first time.
No previous diving experience is required.
Your experience begins with a briefing in which your instructor explains the equipment, basic safety rules and underwater communication.
You will then become familiar with breathing through a scuba regulator in shallow water before enjoying a guided dive with your instructor.
Depending on the conditions and your comfort level, you may dive to a maximum depth of 12 metres.

PADI Discover Scuba Diving in Tenerife – €120
Thinking about taking a scuba diving course in the future? PADI Discover Scuba Diving could be the perfect first step.
This programme offers a more comprehensive introduction to scuba diving, including additional practical training exercises.
You will learn more about basic diving techniques, become familiar with the equipment and develop your confidence underwater under the guidance of a PADI professional.
After your preparation and training exercises, you can enjoy a guided dive exploring Tenerife’s underwater world.
An important advantage is that successfully completed and properly documented training components may count towards a future PADI Open Water Diver course, subject to the current PADI requirements, documentation and applicable time limits.
This means your first diving experience could also become the beginning of your scuba diving education.

Most of our dives take place from the shore. We travel by minibus or jeep to a suitable dive site, selected according to the current sea conditions.
Underwater, you may discover volcanic rock formations, colourful fish, octopuses and other marine life. Encounters with rays or sea turtles are also possible, although wildlife sightings can never be guaranteed.

If you would like a more comprehensive introduction and are considering a PADI Open Water Diver certification in the future, we recommend PADI Discover Scuba Diving for €120.
Both programmes are designed for beginners and include professional supervision.
Before diving, you will need to complete a medical questionnaire. Depending on your health information, medical clearance may be required.
